It was a more successful Saturday than usual for Arsenal’s players out on-loan across Europe.

Out of the eight who were could have played, only three didn’t feature. Calum Chambers’ foot injury ruled him out of contention against Manchester City in their FA Cup quarter-final.

ENGLAND

Jack Wilshere was a second-half substitute during AFC Bournemouth’s 3-2 win over West Ham. The creative midfielder was not risked from the start, with fears over his fitness proving a factor in Eddie Howe’s team selection. He came on for the final few minutes but didn’t have enough time to make a considerable impact on proceedings.

Krystian Bielik made his third Birmingham appearance during their 1-1 draw with Cardiff and played 95 minutes. Booked in the 45th minute, the teenager was otherwise defensively solid when called upon.

With a tackle, an interception, three clearances and two blocked shots, his presence was needed at the back. 88% pass accuracy was also the highest of any starter on the pitch, highlighting how comfortable he is on the ball.

Goalkeeper Matt Macey was on the losing side as Luton were defeated 2-0 by Stevenage.

Attacking midfielder Kaylen Hinds remained an unused substitute for the visitors.

Marc Bola meanwhile, started and completed the full 90 minutes during Notts County’s 2-1 win over Hartlepool. It was the left-back’s eighth appearance since joining in January.

SPAIN

Talented fullback Julio Pleguezuelo once again didn’t feature for Mallorca, this time missing their 1-1 draw with Lugo in the Spanish Segunda. The 20-year-old has played 417 minutes this season.

PORTUGAL

Joel Campbell made a brief cameo appearance off the substitutes’ bench during Sporting’s 4-1 victory against Tondela. With just five minutes left to play, the Costa Rican managed two unsuccessful passes and was also booked before stoppage time.

NETHERLANDS

Dan Crowley received a booking and also created an assist during Go Ahead Eagles’ 3-1 defeat against PSV. The creative midfielder was one of their best performers on a forgettable evening overall.

His individual match statistics:

– Two key passes, 82% pass accuracy and 60 touches

– Fouled twice, made two tackles and one interception
