Barcelona’s sporting director Robert Fernandez and scout Urbano Ortega were reportedly in London this week scouting Hector Bellerin during the Bayern Munich game.

According to Spanish outlet Marca [via Daily Star], the Catalan giants are aiming to get their summer transfer business done early since Luis Enrique is leaving. They’ve therefore been keeping a close eye on Bellerin, which is hardly news since they’ve been linked with him since last year, as well as Chelsea’s Cesar Azpilicueta, Marcos Alonso and Nemanja Matic.

The only fly in the ointment is that the players would have to take a pay cut to move to La Liga.

It’s probably just as well they were apparently at the Bayern game since Bellerin was terrible so hopefully it’ll put them off. Although the 21-year-old wasn’t the worst defender on the night, he was far being impressive, which is unusual for the speedy right-back who usually links up well with Theo Walcott down the right hand side.

That should throw them off the scent.

See, Barca. Nothing to see here…
