Apparently, Arsenal are lining up Porto’s Andre Silva to replace Alexis Sanchez.

The Daily Mail claim that Arsenal are looking at Dortmund’s Marco Reus, Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette and Andre Silva to replace our Chilean, who looks as if he could leave in the summer.

Andre Silva being linked with Arsenal is nothing new and usually there’s no smoke without fire However, the 21-year-old isn’t exactly the cheapest option if we are replacing Alexis as his release clause is reportedly €60m and while release clauses aren’t the be all and end all, they do give an indicator of how much money a club is expecting for their player.

What’s more is that Arsenal can’t possibly be signing ALL of these players to replace our prolific Chilean and while Andre Silva has scored 15 goals in 23 Liga Nos appearances this season (seven assists), he’s still a little inexperienced for what the Gunners could be paying.

Of course, this would all be irrelevant if Alexis would just take pity on us all and sign a new contract…
