With Arsene Wenger potentially off in the summer, we put it to you on Twitter who you want to take over at Arsenal.

Although it’s looking increasingly likely that Wenger will sign a one-year rolling contract with a two-year extension also on the table, his current deal is up in the summer, leaving at least a small possibility that he might still leave.

With this in mind, we wondered who Arsenal fans realistically – or ideally – would like in charge of their team next season.

As you can imagine, we got a pretty varied response from the sensible to the strange (Tony Pulis… really?).

Top #3

Diego Simeone, Max Allegri and Ronald Koeman got the majority of the votes.

Simeone has been linked with Arsenal since he reduced his contract at Atletico Madrid to 2018. If Wenger was to extend his contract by a year, this would coincide with the Argentine leaving the La Liga club.

Juventus boss, Allegri, hasn’t been linked with Arsenal for as long as Simeone but the rumours surrounding his potential move to north London have been strong. However, the Italian insists he’s staying at the Serie A club.

Koeman has only recently been linked with Arsenal since he’s doing a decent enough job at Everton.
