10 goals, 9 assists, £20m 23-year-old Wolves winger scouted by Arsenal

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Wolves 23-year-old winger, Helder Costa.

The Portuguese player only signed for Wolves permanently in January after joining at the start of the season on loan from Benfica. Under contract until 2021 with the Molineaux side, he has done enough to catch the attention of Arsenal and Chelsea according to a report on Sunday.

A left-footed left-winger, he cost Wolves £12.75m despite only being valued at around £2.55m. This was double their club record that was set at £7m when they purchased Ivan Cavaleiro.

Because of that, a bid of around £20m is expected to be needed to tempt Wolves into selling.

Arsenal, along with Chelsea, had scouts watching the player this weekend as Wolves won 1-0 at home against Rotherham United. Costa played 66 minutes before being replaced by Jon Dabi Bovarsson.

Although he plays on the wing, he is Wolves top scorer this season with 10 goals (and nine assists) in 36 games across all competitions.
