Arsene Wenger met with the press ahead of Arsenal’s game at Sutton United on Monday night.

While the press conference was packed with journalists desperate to ask him about his future, things didn’t start as they normally do, with some team news.

Instead, he was asked about the Bayern result.

Wenger, looking tired and less than chipper (but certainly better than he did on Wednesday night) he repeated what he had said after the game.

He was then asked about the team.

Asked about Laurent Koscielny, Wenger simply said “Dunno, he has a scan today.”

When asked about what team he will play at Sutton, he replied, “Well, normal team.”

He also added, when asked about youngsters, “I gave a chance [to them] just because I think they deserved to play and they had a good opportunity to show they can come in for players who normally play.”

That was it, then it was back to Bayern Munich.
