Arsene Wenger has denied that there was any problems in the dressing room after the defeat against Bayern on Wednesday and confirmed he will remain in management, whatever happens at Arsenal.

It has been reported (and blown up further with every iteration) that Alexis was not a happy chap at all, arguing with his teammates.

Wenger was asked about that and if there was a problem “No. Not at all. Everybody was deeply disappointed and affected. There was no incident in the dressing room apart from huge sadness and disappointment.”

About Alexis jetting off, Wenger added, “He has a court case at Barcelona and will be back in training tomorrow (Saturday).”

The manager also confirmed that he would make a decision about his future in March or April before adding, that no matter what happens, he will be managing somewhere next season, either at Arsenal or elsewhere.

“No matter what happens, I will manage next season whether that is here or somewhere else.

“You do not stay here for 20 years and walk out after a defeat like that,” Wenger added.

“Even if I go, Arsenal will not win every single game in the future. That’s part of it, you have to accept that.

“This club will continue to be in safe hands whether it’s me or someone else”
