According to reports, Arsene Wenger could manage in Europe once he leaves Arsenal.

Wenger has been linked with a move to China once he leaves north London after he revealed that, even if he’s not at Arsenal next season, he’ll still be managing. With his contract running out at the end of the season, it’s looking more and more likely that we’ll be seeing him in charge of another team in the not-too-distant future.

The Daily Mail are claiming that clubs in China and the Middle East are prepared to offer the Frenchman far more than the £8m-a-year he earns with the Gunners but he’d rather stay in Europe where his reputation precedes him.

Indeed, despite his lack of Champions League success, Wenger is still recognised as one of the best managers in Europe and, if he was to remain there, his name still carries respect. In fact, he’s already being linked with the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and PSG (again).

Saying this, the Mail do still claim that signing a two-year extension with Arsenal is Wenger’s first choice.
