Arsene Wenger claims that Bournemouth haven’t made a move for Jack Wilshere.

Wilshere, who is currently on loan with the Cherries, has been linked with a permanent move and while this could be great for him, it wouldn’t be for Arsenal. Saying this, Wenger insists that no move has been made for the 25-year-old.

“Yes [Wilshere will return from his loan spell],” he said.

“We have, at the moment, had no move from Bournemouth for Jack Wilshere.”

The midfielder is currently starting every game for Bournemouth and you can understand why he’s loving life down there. He’s staying fit, playing week in week out, and has his best friend, Benik Afobe, at the club.

The England international’s Arsenal contract runs out in just under 18 months and it doesn’t seem as if we’ve approached him over a new deal, although I’m sure we will when he returns from loan. It’s now down to the player whether he wants to fight for a place at Arsenal or stay at Bournemouth. Although, saying this, I doubt he’d have even fight for a place at Arsenal right now.
