Hull will travel to the Emirates on Saturday without Michael Dawson and Abel Hernandez who have both been ruled out with injury.

Dawson missed last week’s win over Liverpool after he pulled up with a calf problem before the game. After being assessed, he has been ruled out for this game. Although no timeframe has been given for his return, Hull state that the “calf injury is likely to keep him out of action for a few weeks.”

Hernandez, a key player in Hull’s resurgence under Marco Silva, was replaced after 65 minutes of the Liverpool game. A statement on the Hull website said, “Abel has sffered a small tear in his hamstring muscle which is likely to keep him out of action for three or four weeks.”

They will welcome Ahmed Elmohamady (AFCON) and Lazar Markovic (ineligible to face Liverpool) back for the game on Saturday.
