Aaron Ramsey believes Arsenal can still catch Chelsea in the title race despite the Gunners being 13 points behind Antonio Conte’s men, albeit with a game in hand.

Speaking to talkSPORT, the Welsh midfielder, said, “There’s still a lot of football to be played.

“Stranger things have happened in football before.

“Chelsea have quite a gap at the moment but it only takes a couple of games and everybody is right back in it again.

“We have to get back to winning ways, compete again and go on a bit of a run.”

Ramsey also spoke about the ongoing criticism of Arsene Wenger by saying that it has been ‘harsh’ while admitting that the players had let him down.

Speaking about the Liverpool game, Ramsey told Ian Abrahams, when the reporter said that the last game between the two had been ‘fun’, “It weren’t so fun for me because I went off after 60 minutes.

“Both teams are very attacking minded and enjoy playing football the way we believe it should be played.

“Maybe a couple of our goals were sloppy defensively and they would probably argue the same. It was enjoyable for the neutral but we came off on the losing side on the day which was disappointing.”

Ramsey has returned to full training after a calf injury kept him sidelined for the whole of February and could feature on Saturday.
