Arsene Wenger has revealed that Aaron Ramsey will miss the next three weeks while Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Olivier Giroud will both have fitness tests.

Speaking to the press ahead of the game against Chelsea, the boss also confirmed that Danny Welbeck should come back into the squad.

“Overall from the other night I think we lose Ramsey and Giroud has a test,” Wenger said. “Giroud should be alright.

“Maybe Welbeck will come back into the group and that’s basically it.

“Oxlade-Chamberlain has a test today as well but I think he will be alright.”

He was then asked about Ramsey’s calf problem and how long it is likely to rule him out.

“I’d say 21 days,” Wenger answered before naming the players who we have at the club who can play in there – Jeff, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Iwobi, Maitland-Niles, were all mentioned for the centre.

Wenger also added, “Elneny will come back after Sunday.

“I still have, I think, some strengths.”
