Hull City have been charged £20,000 by the FA for failing to control their players against Arsenal in the recent Premier League game.

The Hull players were incensed by a challenge from Kieran Gibbs which they believed should have been punished with a red card.

Mark ‘I’m off to Saudi Arabia’ Clattenburg issued a yellow instead leading to Hull City being fined £20,000.

The Tigers admitted the charge.

Hull also felt hard done by during the game over Alexis’ Sanchez’s opener for which Clattenberg apologised. He shouldn’t have. He got the decision correct as the law stands.

No matter what you think of goals being allowed that hit a hand, that is the law. There are plenty of them we’d like to change, we just can’t decide to do so.
