Calum Chambers has flown to a training camp in Spain with the rest of the Middlesbrough squad for four days.

The defender, who’s currently on a season-long loan with Boro, posted a picture on social media of the stunning scenery that surrounds their training camp.

This is the third season in a row that Boro have traveled to Spain to train (mainly on the plain?).

The manager, Aitor Karanka, believes that visiting the Marbella Football Center in Spain is beneficial since it’s hard to train in the rain. No, really.

Boro face Everton at home on Saturday and although they’re in 15th in the Premier League table, they (as well as Leicester and Swansea) are only one point above the relegation zone. A win from Crystal Palace, Sunderland or Hull could knock Boro right down into the red.

No wonder their manager is pulling out all the stops ahead of the big game at the weekend.
