Calum Chambers picked up a stress fracture in his foot just over a week ago and has been named in the starting lineup for Boro’s game against Tottenham.

While it’s absolutely brilliant to see him back so quickly, you can’t help but think if he was still at Arsenal, and not on loan, he’d now be out for the rest of the season.

On 26 January it was reported that he could face up to a month out with a stress fracture.

9 days later, he starts.

Speaking before the game against Spurs, Aitor aKaranka had said, “Calum trained with us on Wednesday, but couldn’t train Thursday so we don’t know yet.

“I hope he will be able to travel, but I’ll speak with the doctor and we will see where we are.”

Tell me you think that would ever happen at Arsenal?

For the record, Jack’s injury woes started with a ‘stress fracture.’ It took him leaving for Bournemouth to string together a decent run.

Coincidence?
