Marc Bola played the full 90 minutes as Notts Country won 3-2 at Leyton Orient, grabbing a brilliant assist for their winning goal.

The sides were level until the 84th minute when Jon Stead scored with his right-foot to give Kevin Nolan’s men all three points. “You always need a bit of brilliance and we got it from Marc Bola, who showed great composure to pick out Steady and if you give him that type of chance he will put it away,” Nolan said after the game.

The Notts County website describe his assist like this: “Bola produced some sensational skill down the left to slip past two defenders before cutting the ball into the middle for Stead. The forward composed himself before stroking the ball home to spark pandemonium among the 700 travelling supporters.”

Bola also almost forced Leyton Orient into an own goal, slipping past Yates to reach the byline only to see his cross sliced behind.

Elsewhere in League One, Kaylen Hinds played the last three minutes of Steveange’s 1-1 draw at Exeter. He replaced Matt Godden with the scores already level.

Matt Macey started in goal for Luton as they also drew 1-1. Playing at Doncaster, it took the hosts 80 minutes to get past the Arsenal man in goal, Alfie May firing past him from the middle of the box.

Julio Pleguezuelo was not involved with the matchday squad as Mallorca lost 1-0 at Girona. The defender has played only 276 league minutes this season with an additional 141 in the Copa del Rey.

Joel Campbell was not involved with Sporting either as he continues to recover from an abductor tear.

Finally, Tafari Moore was not involved with Utrecht as they won 3-1 at home to PEC Zwolle.
