A look at the best social media posts from Arsenal players this week.

After a 2-0 win away to Sutton United in the FA Cup on Monday night, there was a slightly more positive vibe on social media this week. However, the players themselves have still been pretty quiet, especially about football.

Mesut Ozil jetted off the Istanbul, Turkey, for a couple of days.

The 28-year-old shared a picture of himself on a plan via his personal Snapchat on Monday, suggesting that he wouldn’t be involved in Arsenal’s FA Cup tie, which he wasn’t.

Despite reports that the German international was suffering from back problems and would be off until the Liverpool game, Arsene Wenger claims this isn’t the case and that the whole squad simply got two days off before returning to training on Thursday.

The win over Sutton also saw Theo Walcott score his 100th Arsenal goal, which a couple of the lads congratulated him for. He took to Twitter afterwards to thank the fans for their support.

Later in the week, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain attended the Brit Awards alongside girlfriend Perrie Edwards from Little Mix and shared a picture of the two together. Aww.

After a couple of weeks off social media, Alexis Sanchez returned to Instagram in a big way this week, sharing a selfie, a picture of him in training, some pictures of his friend’s wife (*shrugs*), a picture of him climbing a tree and this gem of a video in which he spins around the gym using the Snapchat dog filter.
