Takuma Asano started for Stuttgart as they won 2-1 at FC Heidenheim on Friday night.

The Arsenal forward, who has yet to register a goal this season, has been impressing but was replaced after just 57 minutes of this game.

Stuttgart took the lead after just 19 minutes though Christian Gentner. His left-footed drive from the left-side of the box, after a corner, gave Kevin Muller in the Heidenheim goal no chance as it came through the crowd.

Heidenheim drew level just before the break, Marc Schnatterer finding the top right corner.

The winner for the visitors came in the 71st minute and it was quite something. Josip Brekalo, who replaced Asano, received the ball from Daniel Ginczek and then, well, just watch…

Asano will possibly feel disappointed with his contribution during his time on the pitch. He won three free kicks, two of which were in his own half.
