Arsene Wenger revealed ahead of Arsenal’s home game against Hull that Mohamed Elneny will be available following his involvement in the Africa Cup of Nations final.

The boss revealed that the Egypt international trained yesterday (Wednesday) and was as focussed as ever, claiming that he had a “quality session”.

Elneny played – and scored – in the AFCoN final and although Wenger revealed that of course the midfielder is disappointed, he’s physically fine to take part in the Premier League at the weekend.

Hector Bellerin meanwhile is recovering well from the concussion he picked up on Saturday courtesy of Marcos Alonso’s elbow. He’s progressing and should return soon. However, the right-back’s been resting and therefore not in training, implying that even if he is given the “green light” by Arsenal medical staff, he still might not play against Hull, at least not for long.

There are no other players out or returning.
