Arsenal now have three players missing going into their Premier League clash against Chelsea on Saturday.

Two more midfielders are now sidelined.

Santi Cazorla (Ankle)

No one seems to know when the Spaniard is returning to action following his second surgery. Last week, Arsene Wenger said he wasn’t even running yet and was at least three weeks away from training. Nothing seems to have changed in this respect.

Mohamed Elneny (calf)

The midfielder picked up a calf strain while away on international duty with Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations. No return date has been given as of yet but he’s set to undergo tests and Egypt coach, Hector Cuper, believes he COULD be back for the final, if Egypt make it that far.

Aaron Ramsey (calf)

The Wales international was subbed off in the 20th minute during Arsenal’s 2-1 loss against Watford at the Emirates on Tuesday.

Speaking after the match, Arsene Wenger confirmed it was his calf, not his hamstring as was originally thought, and that he didn’t know when he would return.

He’ll miss the trip to Stamford Bridge.
