Gedion Zelalem looks like he could become the latest Gooner to go Dutch, with De Telegraaf linking him with a move to VVV Venlo.

With Dan Crowley making his debut for Go Ahead Eagles this weekend, Tafari Moore playing at FC Utrecht, Kelechi Nwakali starring at MVV Masstricht and Stefan O’Connor also there, Arsenal are certainly starting to use the country more to help them develop their talent.

VVV Venlo are hoping to achieve promotion to the Eredivisie next season and it is claimed that Arsene Wenger will make a decision in the next ’24 hours’ over their interest in Zelalem.

Although Transfermakrt list his contract expiry as 2018 this is likely incorrect or a new deal will be forthcoming before he’s allowed to leave on loan. We will be able to confirm this, if Arsenal do not, when the FA release their monthly bulletin detailing new contracts.
