AC Milan are still being linked with Jack Wilshere as if it’s a new rumour.

The Serie A club, who apparently made contract with the midfielder in the summer, have reportedly been increasingly impressed with his efforts for Bournemouth where he’s currently on loan.

With 18 months left on his existing Arsenal deal and a new one not miraculously appearing out of thing air, it stands to reason that other clubs could be starting to sniff around.

According to Calciomercatothe Gunners are currently too preoccupied with trying to tie Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez down to new contracts to offer our other players new ones, which makes it sound as if we’ve got just one bloke wandering around with a stack of contracts, trying to get any Arsenal player with 18 months left to sign one.

This has been proven wrong (being preoccupied, not the bloke with the contracts) since Arsenal have just extended Per Mertesacker’s deal, which was due to run out at the end of the season. While I know the boss said this was easy and there were no negotiations, it does show that we’re trying to get our ducks in a row.
