Despite many claiming that Jack Wilshere’s time at Arsenal is over, Matt Hughes, Times Deputy Football Correspondent, believes that the club have been embarrassed over the loan of Jack Wilshere to Bournemouth because of how well he’s played.

Total balls.

Not one person I’ve spoken to, nor anything I’ve read from anybody at the club has even hinted at being ‘embarrassed.’

Hughes wrote, “Arsenal are unlikely to agree a loan deal for Mertesacker with a rival Premier League club, particularly given the embarrassment that Jack Wilshere’s success for Bournemouth has brought them, and a return to Germany is the most likely outcome.”

Wilshere was sent on loan to Bournemouth to get regular minutes in the Premier League, show that he can stay fit and that he deserves a place in the Arsenal first team.
