Ismael Bennacer is said to be closed to a move to Tours, in the French second division, on loan until the end of the season.

The Algerian came to prominence this season for many fans when he was given a surprise call-up to his national team for the AFCON and it seems as if the club are ready to offer him the next step in his development.

If reports are true, it would be a deal until the end of the season with no option to buy.

In other news regarding loans, Chuba Akpom could be on his way to Brighton.

The transfer window closes at 11pm on Tuesday night. Arsene Wenger has already confirmed that there will be no senior players purchased. Mathieu Debuchy, despite being fit, has no interest in him. Carl Jenkinson is unlikely to complete his move to Crystal Palace, which Wenger confirmed that it was to be a permanent deal. Wenger also told reporters that Arsenal are still open to allowing him to leave but that the player needs to be happy with the deal he agrees to.
