Arsenal have recently been linked with Real Madrid forward, Alvaro Morata, once again and now it’s being reported that Florentino Perez is willing to sell but at a price.

After enjoying the two seasons Morata spent at Juventus in which he made a whopping 93 appearances over all competitions (63 in Serie A), scoring 15 and assisting 14 League goals, Real exercised their right to trigger his buy-back clause of just £25m.

While many expected the Spanish giants to make a tasty profit by selling him on, they didn’t, and since, he’s made just 13 La Liga appearances and has only played a full 90 minutes twice, although in this time he’s still managed to score five and assist three.

Understandably, the 24-year-old isn’t too impressed with his lack of proper game time and, as we reported recently, is apparently looking to leave in the summer for that reason.

Now, according to Spanish outlet, Diario Gol, Real president, Florentino Perez, is willing to listen to offers for the forward. However, apparently the fee he’s looking for is in the region of €60m (£51.1m). Not exactly the type of money Arsenal would be willing to splash unless Alexis Sanchez was to leave, perhaps.

The likelihood of Morata leaving Real is getting higher but I don’t see him signing for Arsenal any time soon. Not while we have Alexis, at least.
