Mark Sampson has selected a 28-player squad for the upcoming friendlies in Spain and it includes five Arsenal players.

Those two friendlies are the first steps towards the 2017 Euros that will be played in Netherlands with the SheBelieves Cup coming in March and more friendlies in April and June.

All the players will be looking to book their place in the finals’ 23-player squad with England among the favourites to win the trophy as they are currently ranked fourth in the world and could move up to third in the FIFA rankings.

England will take part in a three nations tournament at the end of this month. The Lionesses will face Norway at the La Manga Club (Sunday 22 January) and Sweden at the Pinatar Arena (Tuesday 24 January).
