Arsenal’s resident bad boy, Mathieu Debuchy, has a high chance of leaving north London in January, so say the French media.

As if we didn’t already know, the right-back is most likely leaving sooner rather than later given his recent outburst directed at Arsene Wenger in which he said that the boss had blocked a couple of moves for him in recent years, including one to rivals Manchester United.

Wenger denied Debuchy’s digs, pointing out how he’d been injured so how could he possibly play him?

He’s got a point. The guy was out all season only to play 13 minutes against Bournemouth at the Emirates and injure his hamstring.

The Frenchman has since being linked with a move to Marseille and, according to L’Equipe, there’s a 75% chance that he’ll leave this January, if not there then somewhere else.

As much as I like how specific the claim is, even I could have told you that.

I’d be more surprised if Debuchy STAYED rather than left.

Hopefully, we can sell him rather than just organise another loan move so he can come back and complain more.
