Bayern Munich manager, Carlo Ancelotti, has revealed that he believes Thiago should be available for the Bundesliga team’s Champions League clash against Arsenal in February.

Arsenal travel to Germany on 15 February to face Bayern for what feels like the 1000th time in our history and it appears as if Thiago, who picked up an injury in training, will be able to play.

The central midfielder is a huge player for Bayern, already scoring three goals and assisting the same amount in 15 Bundesliga appearances this season before the winter break.

Upon his return, however, the Spain international appeared to run into an injury problem 30 minutes into Bayern’s training session in Qatar. The muscular problem has sidelined the 25-year-old but boss, Ancelotti, is convinced that he’ll only be out for three weeks, giving him enough time to recover ahead of the Arsenal clash.

To be fair, as important as Thiago is to Bayern, if they’re going to beat us, they’re going to beat us. I doubt one player will make much of a difference.
