Arsenal are to release Nathan Tella at the end of the season.

The club have reportedly told the player that he will not be offered a new deal when his scholarship terms expire at the end of the season.

The player is now free to look for a new club although he will continue to train with Arsenal.

Jeorge Bird, who landed the exclusive regarding Tella, said, “…the club are eager to avoid a repeat of the situation that saw Savvas Mourgos and Aaron Eyoma turn professional only for them to barely feature for the older age groups so far this season.”

Bird also reports that Chris Willock has been offered a professional deal but has yet to sign while defender, Kostas Pileas, will find out ‘soon’ if he will be awarded one.
