Arsenal and Manchester City are both being linked PSG defensive midfielder, Grzegorz Krychowiak.

The 26-year-old, who we were linked with last January before we signed Mohamed Elneny, has already been put on PSG’s transfer list, along with Jese Rodriguez, despite only joining the French giants from Sevilla in the summer.

According to the Sun, Arsene Wenger is still a fan of the Poland international and we could be set to move for him this winter.

Krychowiak recently picked up a knee injury but before this, he’d only made 10 Ligue 1 appearances this season and, considering he’s been put on the transfer list, obviously isn’t bedding in too well at his new club.

At Sevilla, it was another story. In fact, the midfielder featured 42 times in all competitions last season; he even scored in the Copa del Rey and racked up a total of five assists.

Are Arsenal interested? A lot of it depends on the future of a few of Arsenal’s existing midfielders, Santi Cazorla and Jack Wilshere to name just two. As it stands, especially when Elneny returns from the Africa Cup of Nations, I’m not sure he’d get into the first team. However, as a squad player, you never know.
