Arsenal and Leicester City are reportedly scouting Feirens’ attacking midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo.

The 21-year-old was named as Africa’s most promising talent in 2015 and, since joining Portuguese club, Feirens, in January, has gone on to make eight Liga Nos appearances, assisting once, and twice in the Portuguese domestic cup, Taça CTT, scoring once.

Before that, the Nigeria international played for Warri Wolves.

During the Africa Cup of Nations, back in March, Etebo scored against Egypt and also got an assist during Nigeria’s 3-1 win over Algeria during their World Cup Qualifier. However, the youngster really made a name for himself during the Rio Olympics, scoring four goals in one game against Japan. A match his home country went on to win 5-4. It was the first time a Nigerian player had done this for 44 years.

According to the Sun, both Arsenal and Leicester’s scouts were at Feirens’ 1-1 draw against Porto on Thursday with both managers wanting to bolster their squads.
