As usual, it seems that Arsenal.com are the last to confirm that we have indeed signed Hednesford Town left-back, Cohen Bramall.

The 20-year-old, who was made redundant by Bentley in December, has already been pretty vocal about his excitement over moving from the Northern League Premier Division to training alongside the first team on his first day.

“I drove in there and I saw the Arsenal Football Club [sign] and everything else,” the youngster explained.

“I was absolutely gobsmacked. It was like a dream.

“I was with the first team on the Thursday and the Friday and my eyes just lit up straight away but I had to do my job.”

The left-back is supposed to be quicker than Hector Bellerin and is aiming for first team football once he’s built his fitness up.

Arsene Wenger confirmed the signing of Bramall over a week ago, describing him as an ‘exceptional physical talent’, drawing a comparison between the 20-year-old and former Gunner, Ashley Cole.

Bramall is said to have signed for a fee of £40,000 on a two-and-a-half year deal after successfully completing his trial period with the club.

He’s clearly keen, let’s see what’s he’s made of.
