Alex Iwobi has been named as a substitute in the African Squad of 2016.

Ahead of the 25th Glo-CAF Awards tonight [Thursday] in Abuja, the Confederation of African Football named their African XI.

Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho was also named on the bench.

Asisat Oshoala from Arsenal ladies is one of the nominees for Women’s Player of the Year.
