Arsene Wenger has acknowledged that although Arsenal missed Shkodran Mustafi against Everton midweek, we can’t cry over it.

The centreback, who has been immense since we bought him from Valencia in the summer, pulled his hamstring during the Gunners’ 3-1 win over stoke at the weekend and has been ruled out for at least three weeks.

Although Gabriel is doing an okay job as centreback in his stead, he’s no Mustafi, and we could have really done with his passing midweek during our 2-1 loss against the Toffees.

However, what’s done it done. Wenger’s right. There were other factors that contributed to the loss and while we missed Mustafi, all we can do is analyse where we went wrong and move onto the next game.
