West Ham manager, Slaven Bilic, was visibly downtrodden following his side’s hefty defeat at the hands of Arsenal on Saturday.
Speaking to BT Sport after the match, which saw goals from Mesut Ozil, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and a hattrick from Alexis Sanchez, Bilic admitted that his players don’t have the quality or the intensity they should. He even claimed that they don’t have any intensity in training, which is concerning.
Perhaps if Andy Carroll had been fully fit and started, the game would have been different since he did score West Ham’s only goal but we’ll never know.
As someone who doesn’t dislike Bilic, it’s pretty tough to see him struggling. Although, the fact that Arsenal won makes it slightly easier to deal with…
"We don't even train with the right intensity." Bilic questions his players' commitment. #WHUARS
