Arsene Wenger has given the latest team news ahead of Arsenal’s trip to Manchester City.

The boss had good news regarding Danny Welbeck, who has coincidentally been out since our penultimate clash of the 2015/16 season at the Etihad with a knee injury.

Apparently, Welbz is just one week away from rejoining training, which is a massive boost considering the former Manchester United striker gives us another attacking option. While we’re not exactly finding it hard to find the net right now (Everton aside), I highly doubt you can have too many forwards fit.

In other news, Aaron Ramsey is apparently ‘close’ to coming back but won’t be ready for the trip to fourth-place City on Sunday.

The midfielder is sidelined with a hamstring injury, which must be tough considering he’d only just returned from one.

It’s good to see players progressing well and Wenger not taking unnecessary gambles.

It’ll be a boost to see Welbz back.
