Arsene Wenger had all the latest news on the Arsenal team ahead of their trip to West Ham on Saturday, including news on Santi Cazorla’s surgery.

Our little Spaniard travels to Sweden in order to undergo surgery on his ankle, which he injured during Arsenal’s 6-0 win over Ludogorets. Despite the problem not thought to be hugely serious, it does appear it’s having trouble healing.

Speaking the morning after the news was confirmed by Arsenal’s website, Wenger didn’t exactly seem over the moon.

Mathieu Debuchy is also out for six weeks after injuring his hamstring against Bournemouth.

Mohamed Elneny, who was subbed against Southampton midweek in the EFL Cup, was just sick so will face late tests but should be fine.

Other than this, everyone else is apparently available.
