According to reports coming from Italy, Napoli are the latest team to show an interest in Wojciech Szczesny.

Woj has been on loan at Serie A club, Roma, for 18 months now and is set to complete the rest of the season with the Italian club. He’s doing well, saving a penalty against AC Milan on Monday, and is genuinely liked by the fans, having quickly become their first choice shot-stopper. He’s now made 59 appearances and kept 15 clean sheets.

Although there was talk of Roma wanting to sign the Poland international on a permanent deal, combined with talk that Arsenal were asking them to pay his wages, it does appear that Woj is returning to north London once this loan spell is over with.

However, enter player three.

According to

It’s an interesting one because Napoli are Roma’s rivals and I imagine that Woj has spent enough time in Serie A to realise what a big deal that is.

I don’t think Arsenal would allow him to leave after all this and I doubt he’d want to go either.
