According to RMC Sport, Mesut Ozil has urged Arsene Wenger to sign Julian Draxler and, if he does so, the Gernan will probably extend his.

Draxler has been heavily linked with a move away from Wolfsburg after the 23-year-old became unhappy with his position at the club.

Since, Arsenal, PSG and Juventus have all been connected.

Arsenal because Wenger has always been a fan; PSG because they reportedly made contract in the summer and are willing to pay the £30m it’ll take to bring him to Paris; and Juventus because… well they just want him apparently.

The German international obviously knows Ozil and apparently the playmaker rates the Wolfsburg man so highly that he’s willing to stake his contract on it.

Sounds legit.

Not.

Although Arsenal and Ozil are currently in talks over a new contract since his runs out in 18 months, I highly doubt signing a player who he thinks is quite good is going to be the real clincher.

Ozil is respectful enough to trust Wenger’s choices. He’s no Robin van Persie.

Therefore, I don’t see us signing Draxler for Ozil – or anyone!
