Real Madrid midfielder, Isco, is still being linked with a move away from the La Liga club, with Arsenal, Manchester City and a host of other top European clubs linked.

The 24-year-old has struggled to secure consistent game time at Real since signing from Malaga in 2013. At the time, he was one of the hottest properties in Europe. He was just 21 and had scored nine goals during his last season. He had also been promoted to Spain’s national team.

However, since joining the Spanish giants, Isco has failed to make a huge impact. In 164 appearances, a considerable portion of which have been coming off the bench, he’s scored 24 goals and assisted 38. This is over three years.

This season, he’s found it even harder to get starts for his team and, therefore, reports claiming that he’s looking for a move are picking up speed.

What’s more is that he’s out of contract in 2018 and, back in October, he admitted that his future at the club is uncertain.

“The truth is that I have not yet thought about it, nor have they asked me to renew, so I am calm,” he said.

“I take it day by day, which is important.

“It seems a little weird [that Real haven’t spoken about it yet], but I can’t do anything.

“If they don’t want me to renew, I won’t go asking for it. It’s something for the club to decide, not me.”

Do I see him leaving Real? Possibly. However, I don’t see Arsenal being genuinely interested.

We have Mesut Ozil and if Isco isn’t willing to sit on the bench at Real, why would he with us?

Manchester City, Chelsea, Barcelona, Spurs and Bayern Munich are also linked.
