Pep Guardiola is over the moon that he managed to beat, according to him, one of the best teams in the Premier League.

Watching Arsenal’s display against City, you wouldn’t believe that we’re supposed to be genuine title contenders. A 2-1 loss away to one of our rivals isn’t so bad on paper but it was the manner in which we lost. We were just terrible.

City now leap up into second place and Pep is understandably chuffed, since now everyone believes that he’s the best manager in the world once again.

Both clubs have a long way to go until the end of the season. However, I’m getting really annoyed with our habit of kick-starting our rivals’ campaigns.

Chelsea have won all their games since we beat them 3-0 at the Emirates, while Manchester United have been in good form since we grabbed a last minute equaliser and Old Trafford.

Can we just, like, stop?
