Alex Richards from Mirror Football has been tweeting about what he apparently knows regarding the Julian Draxler situation.

The attack-minded player has been linked with both Arsenal and PSG, with reports claiming he could be leaving Wolfsburg as soon as January and is currently training alone.

However, since the Ligue 1 team spoke with his club in the summer and are more likely to pay the £30m Wolfsburg are apparently asking for, it’s been assumed that he’s more or less definitely going to PSG.

Well, according to Richards, this isn’t necessarily the case and while Draxler could go to PSG, he’s still set to choose between them and Arsenal.

Are Arsenal actually interested?

While I found it hard to believe that we’d make a big signing in January, and I still do, Arsene Wenger has admired the German international for years. What’s more is that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Theo Walcott aren’t exactly looking like world beaters right now.

Could the boss bite the bullet and buy his dream wide-man?

I wouldn’t hold my breath but I’m willing to be wrong.
