Sergio Aguero has been handed a four-game ban for his assault on David Luiz on Sunday and will now miss the showdown with Arsenal later this month.

He will miss the following games:

  • v Leicester (a)
  • v Watford (h)
  • v Arsenal (h) (18th December)
  • v Hull (a)

He has received a four-game ban instead of an automatic three-game suspension due to this being his second red card of the season.

The 28-year-old has 10 goals and one assist in 12 Premier League appearances and his absence is a massive blow to City and a huge boost for Arsenal, let’s not lie about this.

He has 16 goals and one assist in 19 games across all competitions. Yet still Pep Guardiola thinks it’s acceptable to tap up Alexis Sanchez – or at least, that’s what the press want us to believe.
