Arsenal are reportedly scouting Standard Liege, Guillaume Hubert.

The 22-year-old has apparently been scouted by Arsenal six times; most recently we watched the Belgium youth international play against Genk.

The match ended 2-2. However, Hubert pulled off some massive saves.

This season, Hubert has only managed to keep one clean sheet in all competitions – against Panathinaikos in the Europa League – and in seven Jupiler Pro League appearances, he’s shipped 10.

Saying this, according to the claims, Arsenal are very keen indeed.

This makes me wonder what will become of Wojciech Szczesny. Many of us have just automatically assumed that he’ll return to Arsenal once his loan spell at Roma has come to an end and that he’ll play underneath Petr Cech until the more experienced goalkeeper decides to move on.

However, what if the Poland international decides he wants more than just the odd cup appearance?

Either this, or we’re looking for a replacement for David Ospina, which… I could make my peace with…
