Arsenal are reportedly interested in 17-year-old Crotone goalkeeper, Aniello Viscovo.

The youngster is yet to make a league appearance for his Serie A club, who currently sit second from bottom of the table. However, he’s made seven appearances in the Italian youth league, Primavera C, where he’s shipped 11 goals and kept one clean sheet.

Still, despite conceding an average of 1.57 goals a game, he’s highly rated. So much so that Arsenal are reportedly very keen and are supposedly in talks with the 17-year-old who’s out of contract in the summer.

Viscovo’s agent, Luigi Liberti, spoke exclusively to Tuttomercatoweb recently, acknowledging that he has indeed heard of Arsenal’s interest and that his client is very serious about his career.

Are Arsenal interested?

We could be. According to the claims, we’ve been scouting him for a while.

If word has gotten to his agent and he’s out of contract in the summer, there’s every possibility.

At the moment, we’re not exactly in desperate need of goalkeepers but if the opportunity arises, I’m sure we won’t turn it down.
