Arsene Wenger has ruled Mathieu Debuchy out of Arsenal’s clash with PSG on Wednesday.

The rightback has only just returned from… well we aren’t really sure. We think it was an injury. And although he scored for our u23s against Spurs last week, Wenger agrees that it’s still not the right time to introduce him to a Champions League match.

Since Hector Bellerin is out for a few more weeks with an ankle injury, it looks like Carl Jenkinson will be asked to step in once again against the Ligue 1 team.

This is likely to fuel the rumours that Debuchy is leaving in January, with both Roma and Galatasaray reportedly interested. Although, at this point, there’s nothing sensational about them. He probably is leaving, at the very least on loan. If Jenks is getting into the team before him, I can’t imagine he’ll be hanging around much longer.

Arsenal and PSG have both already progressed to the final 16 of the Champions League but with both on 10 points, top of the group is still up for grabs and the winner of this clash will most likely get it.
