Adrien Rabiot has ruled himself out of PSG’s trip to Arsenal next week for the Champions League showdown that comes hot on the heels of our trip to Old Trafford.

Picking up a thigh injury during France’s friendly with Ivory Coast he is set to undergo tests to determine how long he will be sidelined for.

Speaking to the press in the mix zone after the 0-0 draw, Rabiot, who has been linked numerous times with a move to Arsenal, said, “It’s a tear, I think it’s dead.”

The 21-year-old central midfielder has one goal and two assists in 11 Ligue 1 games this season.

Arsenal will not be without their own injury concerns for that game. Santi Cazorla already looks like he’s out of the game against Jose Mourinho’s men and it would seem highly unlikely that he will make it back in time for the game on Wednesday.

Alexis, however, has defied all sense and logic by running off what was supposed to be a hamstring tear. He turned out for Chile against Uruguay on Tuesday and scored a brace.

He is believed to have warmed down after the match by undertaking a triathalon.
