Arsene Wenger delivered the Arsenal team news going into their clash against Bournemouth on Sunday.

While there’s no one set to return to the squad, we also have no new players out. Therefore, while Hector Bellerin and Santi Cazorla are still sidelined, we’ll most likely see a similar team put out against the Cherries to what we saw line up against PSG midweek.

A boost, however, is that Lucas Perez is back in training after weeks out through an ankle injury he picked up against Reading in the EFL Cup. He temporarily returned to former club, Deportivo, in Spain to recover and soon revealed that his rehabilitation was going so well that he could return ahead of schedule.

Wenger admits that while he is back training, he’s not yet ready to play. He’s far more likely to return against Southampton next Wednesday in the EFL Cup.

It’ll be somewhat fitting that the forward makes his return in the very competition he was injured.
