Arsenal have been boosted by the news that a number of their injured stars could return this weekend for the game against Tottenham at the Emirates.

Aaron Ramsey has already declared himself fit to play after making on his second start of the season against Ludogorets midweek. He grabbed his second assist in two games in that match.

Hector Bellerin, who was not included against the Bulgarians, is good to go, with Wenger saying, “Hector has a test. I left him behind [in midweek] because I was cautious with him. We could have basically forced the issue, he could have played maybe in Bulgaria but he should be alright [for Sunday].”

Santi Cazorla, who did not take part in training on Thursday (after Wenger’s comments) could possibly return, with Wenger saying, “He is similar, he has not practised yet – he will try to go out today and we will see where we go from there. He is a doubt, yes.”

Doubts hang over Kieran Gibbs as well who has a shoulder injury, picked up when he landed awkwardly on Tuesday night. You have to feel for him as he finally got a run in the team.

About Nacho Monreal and Theo Walcott, Wenger said, “the players who did not travel like Cazorla, Monreal, Walcott – there is still some uncertainty today. The closest to coming back looks to be Walcott. We will have a test with him.”

Nacho himself posted on Instagram,

So that’s Bellerin back (woop), Ramsey fit (woop), Cazorla, Walcott and Monreal all possibles (half-woop).
