David Ospina played a full match for Colombia against Chile as Manchester City’s goalkeeper managed to pick up a dead leg.

Claudio Bravo was in goal for Chile while Dave was at the opposition end of the pitch.

The feisty match ended 0-0 but not before Bravo had a collision with Chile’s Santiago Arias.

Although the English press are reporting it as an awful injury, it’s a different story with the Colombia media [via Sport Witness] who mainly seem to be describing it as a dead leg or bad bruising. Therefore, it’s doubtful that he’ll be out for too long.

This was Ospina’s 69th cap for his country, including friendlies, which is good since it keeps him fresh for when he’s needed for Arsenal.

Alexis Sanchez was dropped from the Chile team after sustaining a low-grade muscular injury in training. He’s staying in Santiago for the time being but is expected to return for the Uruguay match. Hopefully, not before he’s ready.
